New arrivals: a lot of accessories

2025
Great news for all MAGUS microscope users: We have developed and launched 70 models of accessories that are designed to improve the operation of our optical equipment. Eyepieces, objectives, polarizer/analyzer sets, phase-contrast devices, epi-fluorescence attachments, darkfield sliders and condensers, illuminators, color filters, and many others are already available for purchase on our website and from our partners.

Accessories for flat-field microscopes

Eyepieces

You can easily extend the microscope’s magnification range with an additional pair of eyepieces. A special eyepiece (with a scale, a reticle, with a pointer) will help you to perform measurements and in teaching students.

Objectives

An objective is a component of the optical system that, similar to the eyepiece, affects the magnification of the microscope. Objectives for upright and inverted microscopes differ in design and are not interchangeable. The parfocal distance of the new objectives is 45mm and 60mm, and there are immersion models that require the use of oil or water.

Objective set

The set includes objectives for special contrast techniques: fluorescence and darkfield microscopy in reflected light. The set may also be used in the bright field.

Devices for various contrast techniques

For effective research work, we have developed special devices for flat-field microscopes: analyzers and polarizers, darkfield sliders and condensers, phase-contrast devices, epi-fluorescence attachments, the DIC device, and the Hoffman modulation contrast device.

Other

The microscope’s user may also need color filters, adapters, and other accessories for everyday use.

Stereomicroscope accessories

Eyepieces and main objectives

Our brand offers eyepieces and main objectives for stereomicroscopes. The latter are used in the CMO system, where the parameters of the main objective affect the microscope’s total magnification, field of view, and working distance. The CMO may be designed with different degrees of correction of spherical and chromatic aberrations.

Devices for various contrast techniques

You should use special devices compatible with stereomicroscopes to employ polarization, fluorescence, and darkfield microscopy.

Beamsplitters with ports and C-mount adapters

It is not always possible to mount a digital camera directly on a stereomicroscope. In these cases, a beamsplitter with a port is required. A beamsplitter is mounted in the optical path, and a digital camera, which is fixed on the C-mount adapter, is installed in the port.

Illuminators

Microscopy employs various illumination devices: Some produce small shadows while others completely exclude them. Check out six different types of illuminators.
