MAGUS 05A 0.5x Achromatic Main Objective Achromatic objective for CMO stereomicroscope. Magnification: 0.5x
To produce a three-dimensional image, the Abbe stereomicroscope uses a common main objective that is exactly perpendicular to the specimen plane. Light that passes through or that is reflected from the specimen enters the main objective and is distributed into two parallel optical channels. The stereoscopic angle is 11°. The light is then fed into the eyepieces or digital camera. Replacing the main objective changes the magnification, field of view, and working distance of the microscope.
MAGUS Stereo A6, А8, and А10 microscopes are equipped with a 1x achromatic objective that provides a high degree of field curvature correction as well as spherical and chromatic aberrations. The MAGUS 05A 0.5x achromatic main objective increases the working distance with no loss of image quality and it extends the field of view in the eyepieces as well as on the digital camera, while reducing the total magnification of a stereomicroscope.
