The C-mount adapter is designed for mounting the digital camera in the vertical tube of the trinocular microscope.
The adapter magnification is 1.82x. It is used with the MAGUS models that have a built‑in 0.55x magnification in the vertical tube, resulting in a final magnification of 1x at the camera. When selecting a camera and calculating the resolution and sensor size, ensure to use the final magnification factor of 1x.
The maximum field of view without vignetting can be obtained on 1" and larger sensors.
