MAGUS 2APO 2x Plan Apochromatic Main Objective Apochromatic objective for CMO stereomicroscope. Magnification: 2x
To produce a three-dimensional image, the CMO stereomicroscope uses a common main objective that is exactly perpendicular to the specimen plane. The light that passes through or that is reflected from the specimen enters the main objective and is distributed into two parallel optical channels. The stereoscopic angle is 11°. The light is then fed into the eyepieces or digital camera. Replacing the main objective changes the magnification, field of view, and working distance of the microscope.
MAGUS Stereo A6, А8, and А10 microscopes are equipped with a 1x achromatic objective that provides a high degree of field curvature correction as well as spherical and chromatic aberrations. The MAGUS 2APO 2x plan apochromatic main objective increases the total magnification of a stereomicroscope, while reducing the working distance and field of view in the eyepieces as well as on the digital camera. The apochromatic optical design improves the correction of spherical and chromatic aberrations, resulting in sharper and clearer images.
