Description
Digital camera
The MAGUS CDF10 digital camera is designed for the brightfield and darkfield microscopy technique. It offers a low noise level and high light sensitivity.
The camera is equipped with a 2MP sensor and delivers realistic Full HD images (1920x1080px) when observing with 40x, 60x, and 100x objectives.
Video is recorded at 125fps at maximum resolution: They are smooth with soft and subtle transitions between frames. The movement of the sample is displayed in real time with no delays. The camera makes it easy to work with moving samples and is ideal for classroom demonstrations.
The camera is equipped with the USB3.0 interface. The data transfer speed is 10 times faster than USB 2.0 cameras. The high-speed camera is recommended for professional laboratories, research, or university training.
Microscope head
Trinocular head with infinity achromatic objectives. Eyepiece tubes rotate 360°. The user can adjust the eye relief on the eyepiece to fit their height. The digital camera is mounted instead of an eyepiece in the trinocular tube.
Revolving nosepiece
5 objectives. A slot for the installation of an additional lens that increases the range of magnification. The revolving nosepiece with objectives is oriented toward the interior – the user can see the objective inserted into the optical path, and the space above the stage is free.
Focusing mechanism
Coaxial coarse and fine focusing knobs are located at the base of the microscope on both sides. The user can put their hands on the table and take a relaxed pose while observing. The focus adjustment is smooth and easy.
Stage
To ensure ergonomic operation of the stage, it does not have an X-axis positioning rack. The mechanism that has been mounted into the stage moves the object smoothly. The slide holder is attached by way of two screws and can be removed for easy operation.
Abbe condenser
The condenser has a slot for a darkfield slider or a phase contrast slider. The installation of a slider saves time when changing the observation method.
Illumination
A halogen bulb emits warm colors that the eyes are used to. The bulb replacement requires minimal effort. The 30-watt bulb is bright enough for brightfield, darkfield, and phase-contrast methods.
Accessories
There is a line of accessories designed for the microscope: eyepieces, objectives, darkfield, phase-contrast and polarization devices, digital cameras, and calibration slides.
