The laboratories of European technology institutes conducted the testing of MAGUS equipment as a part of preparing a university teaching lab for biomedical physics studies.
The MAGUS Bio 270T biological microscope, MAGUS CHD50 digital camera, and MAGUS MCD40 monitor were used to observe and demonstrate single-celled and colonial eukaryotic organisms as well as microscopic and near-microscopic aquatic animals to students.

The optical system allows for the comprehensive observation of both motile and non-motile microscopic organisms in aquatic environments. The field of view diameter and depth of focus enable the comfortable examination of intracellular structures and surface morphology in stationary or slow-moving specimens as well as the detailed observation of overall body morphology and actively moving structures—even those as small as large cilia and flagella in single-celled eukaryotes.
