2026-04-28 09:40 2026
The training facility at the Plant Quarantine Center has been equipped with modern MAGUS microscopy equipment. The new instruments are being used for the professional development of specialists and for conducting scientific research in agronomy, botany, and entomology.

As part of the project, 20 sets were supplied, including MAGUS Stereo A18T Stereomicroscopes, MAGUS CHD40 Digital Cameras, and MAGUS MCD40 LCD Monitors. The stereomicroscopes feature apochromatic optics and an Abbe optical design, delivering high imaging accuracy and the precise rendering of biological specimens. The digital cameras and monitors enable instant image output to the screen, photo and video capture, and measurements using MAGUS View software.

The equipment is used for the morphological analysis of plants and phytopathogens, diagnosing fungal infections in crops, and identifying insect pests. These tasks are directly linked to ensuring phytosanitary safety and they require high precision observations, reproducibility of results, and reliable documentation.

We are proud that MAGUS solutions are contributing to enhancing the professional skills of specialists in plant quarantine and protection.
