MAGUS Bio 250BL in Research at the Institute for Ecology and Evolution Studies

2025
The experimental research station of the Institute for Ecology and Evolution Studies has been equipped with the MAGUS Bio 250BL biological microscope. The equipment is used for hematological studies, including counting erythrocytes and leukocytes in mammalian blood.

The laboratory's main focus is studying the physiological characteristics of wild mammals, particularly species for which standard hematological parameters remain insufficiently studied. Data obtained with the MAGUS microscope are used in scientific research on the hematology of felines and other mammals and form the basis for publications in leading scientific journals.

According to the researchers, the MAGUS Bio 250BL microscope fully meets the laboratory’s current needs, providing convenient and stable operation for performing the routine analyses required for scientific research. The instrument is easy to use and not overloaded with excessive functions, which is particularly important in the context of regular laboratory work.

MAGUS thanks the Institute's team for their trust and is pleased that our equipment contributes to the advancement of fundamental science and the study of wildlife.
