Explore our new products – calibration slides for microscopes. A calibration slide is also often referred to as a “micrometer slide” or a “stage micrometer”. It is used to calibrate the image analysis software and eyepiece scale. A total of five slide models have been added to the product catalog: three classic rectangular and two round for stereomicroscopes. The slides differ by the type of engravings applied.
Classic calibration slides
The CS1 slide is the classic basic model and it features only one scale with a division value of 0.01mm. The CS3 slide offers more convenience when objectives of different magnifications are used, as it has three scales with division values of 0.01mm, 0.05mm, and 0.1mm. The CS5 slide has two scales on the crosshairs (each having a scale division of 0.01mm) and four circles with different diameters.
Calibration slides for stereomicroscopes
The CSS1 and CSS2 slides are both 24mm. The first one features a 0.1mm division and the second one has two scales on the crosshairs with a 0.05mm division and a 10x10mm reticle.
